Getting to Day Dawn St Ives

If coming from almost anywhere in the country, turn west onto the A30 at Exeter towards Cornwall. After quite a while turn right at the round about and follow the sign for St. Ives.  Follow the road to St Ives and after several small villages you will get to St Ives. Keep on the through road up the hill at the big Harbour Hotel then when the road curves left up the hill towards the leisure centre (garages on your right) carry straight onto Albert Road and then quickly straight on again to Pednolver Terrace. This is a one way road and will carry on for a bit. At the end turn right and immediately left at the mini round about and up the steep hill. At the end turn right and you will see Ayr Stores on your left and then the road will bend sharply left and you will see the sea at the bottom of a steep hill. Hooray!

Head down the hill and take the first left onto Channel View. Follow the road and fork to the right onto Carthew Way. Day Dawn is on the left at the bottom of the road before it turns sharply right. The house name is on the post at the bottom of the drive. There is plenty of parking on the drive.

There is a large parking space in front of the house for 4 cars (1 must be small/medium sized).

Alternatively take the train to St Erth (on the main London - Penzance line), from which you can either get a taxi or take one of the most scenic branch lines in England, to St Ives.

You can also fly to Newquay Airport and get a taxi to Day Dawn.
